Most of the lightning strikes in California are between Palm Springs and Las Vegas even though there are a few up near the Oregon Border for example, West of Redding, California and up in Oregon as well. So, there could be a lot of small lightning caused fires in all the listed states so far and hopefully enough resources will knock most of them down before they become problematic like the McKinney fire in Siskiyou County near Yreka.
