FLASH FLOOD WARNING
The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Johnson County in north central Texas...
Southern Tarrant County in north central Texas...
* Until 300 AM CDT.
* At 1153 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms continuing
to produce heavy rain across Tarrant and Johnson Counties. Radar
estimates between 2 and 7 inches of rain have fallen across the
area with numerous reports of flash flooding ongoing.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Trained spotters and radar.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Fort Worth, Arlington, Grand Prairie, Mansfield, Euless, Bedford,
Haltom City, Hurst, Burleson, Cleburne, Watauga, Colleyville,
Benbrook, Saginaw, White Settlement, Crowley, Forest Hill,
Richland Hills, River Oaks and Kennedale.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
