House of the Dragon began at 9pm on HBO

I recorded the 9 pm version and the 10 pm (same thing) on my DVR so I wouldn't miss it. I also just researched for you that it is true it is also simultaneously on HBO Max in Streaming form too.

I haven't watched it yet because was doing something else while it was recording so I likely will watch it now.

It's sort of a mixed bag this prequel to Game of Thrones. I remember watching the first season of Game of Thrones and being so upset about King Ned's beheading as one of the main characters and for me the only ethical one so far in the series that I had to stop watching GOT for at least a year until people told me just how amazing the series was continuing to be. Over time, I realized it was in a league of it's own as a series and nothing at all matched it's gruesome version of reality and fantasy.

It's really beyond strange when you can say about a program that it's gruesome reality also matches it's gruesome Fantasy! This I think is what made GOT both amazing to watch and marvelously entertaining if you could stand the gruesome truths and the gruesome fantasies shown therein. But, I would say it's definitely adult entertainment and not really meant for children. At least from my own personal point of view.
