HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!

Each of us has something to be grateful for, (even if it is that we are still alive).

For example, I tested negative for Covid yesterday so I'm very happy to still be alive here at age 76.

Then I spent the rest of the day coughing even though I tested negative. Finally, my wife got me to take a coricidan and I slept for 12 hours straight and woke up feeling wonderful even though it was noon on Thanksgiving and my wife and her nurse had gone out to pick up Thanksgiving Dinner for all of us.

So, I'm grateful to be alive and I'm grateful (that at least for now) we still live in a democracy rather than a fascist state), especially with what is happening in the world lately.

If you don't start with what you are grateful for it is difficult to move on in life and have something better. I have noticed this all my life.

In my 20s especially (early 20s) I shielded myself from the world with my cynicism. Then this worked for me. But, in my 40s after going through an awful divorce I saw that my cynicism was only killing me.

So, when I met my present wife 30 years ago on December 1st we went on our very first date by the way, her Optimistic view of life actually saved me. I realized I needed someone around who was always cheerful and optimistic no matter what happened in life. I saw that she literally gave me a reason to go on living and taking care of and helping all my children have a good life.

So, though I'm very grateful for still being alive at 76 I'm also glad and very grateful that all my children are still alive and doing well in their lives too and my grandchildren as well.

Having something to be grateful for is the motor of life!

Gratitude is the motor of Life!

Without Gratitude life often soon ends.

So, Thanksgiving in your hearts will Literally SAVE YOUR LIVES.

AGAIN AGAIN AND AGAIN!

By God's Grace
