We woke up to about 4 inches of snow outside our hotel room

And about 1 foot of snow on top of our whole car. Luckily I brought an ice scraper for this so I could clear the right and left windows and front window so I could move the car (an all wheel drive) to a different location so it wouldn't get snowed in in place parked where it was with this amount of snow coming down there. So, now I can drive the car out of the hotel parking lot quite easily. Also, a snow plow is removing snow now so that will help too for people at the hotel so they aren't snowed in completely and unable to drive anywhere. But, you wouldn't want a 2 wheel drive now here because you would likely get stuck anywhere you were at this point. It is now 9:30 and has been snowing since around 3 am and likely will continue snowing at least 1 inch an hour or more depending upon where it is drifting to. We now have drifts of 1 foot or more many places and about 1 foot likely on top of the roof of our all wheel drive car here. So, I'm expecting a total of 2 feet or more on top of our car before this could potentially turn to rain by noon or after. But, all this is just speculation now. But, it's coming down blizzard style now here in Mt. Shasta. Luckily we were well prepared for this.
