Got up to 88 degrees yesterday! in Portland area

We got a loaner while getting our car worked on here in the Portland Area and as usual it's hard to learn to use new air conditioning controls. I looked into the back seat and was worried about our dog. Finally my wife returned and the two of us got into the manual of the loaner trying to get the air conditioner to work in the back seat where the dog was. Also, I was melting in the front seat and hoping I wasn't going to have problems with the heat myself. Finally (this is a touch screen) that reminds me of the big Tesla Touch screens (like where the guy was watching Harry Potter on one and letting his car drive itself and the car mistook a sign on the side of a semi truck turning in front of it for a roadside sign and the guy was cut in half as the Tesla drove under the trailer of the Semi in Florida.)

So, these vehicles are very well and good but the controls often are so complicated you need a car manual to decipher what to do next to make yourself okay in hot weather. I have found this to be sort of a universal problem when you rent cars whether it's here on the mainland or Hawaii or Europe. This is an ongoing problem.

I wish you could just talk to the vehicle and have it help you solve the problem (whatever it is). I suppose this comes next as more and more cars are capable of having conversations with the driver or passengers.
