Have there ever been Non-troubling times in my lifetime since 1948? Probably not.

 For example, when Pakistan and then East Pakistan was created it was from Hindus killing Muslims in India with pitchforks and garden tools like rakes and hoes. I remember as a child listening to the horrific scenes on the radio with my parents while traveling somewhere and thinking "What a horrific world I live in!".

What was West Pakistan is now Pakistan and what was East Pakistan is now Bangladesh. 

Then I was 12 and it was 1960 and President Kennedy was elected and he was sort of like Camelot with his. pretty young wife (we didn't know about all the secret service dalliances of Kennedy then with young ladies. Or the swimming pool filled with naked young ladies with the secret service trying to hide this from Jacqueline when she was arriving unexpectedly.

Then in  1962 there was the Cuban Missile Crisis only to be exceeded by Khrushchev and Castro and the Mafia assassinating President Kennedy here in the U.S.

But, of course the Warren Commission lied to us all about this to avoid a nuclear war between Russia and the U.S. which also makes sense to not have both countries a pile of radiated dust too with everyone dead.

Then Martin Luther King and Bobby Kennedy were assassinated too and likely J. Edgar Hoover either looked the other way or contributed to these assassinations as well as President Kennedy too. That guy was a real piece of work by the way.

Then Nixon got in and was the worst president except for Trump since I was born. However, at least Nixon prevented an all out ground war with China by making them our trading partners along with Kissinger's  part in all of this preventing war too.

Then Nixon was forced out because the Republican party actually still had useful principles then not like now where they have become incredibly corrupt and anti-Democratic and Anti-Constitutional.

So, from what you can already see "There have been No real times when things weren't troubling since around 1948 when I was born.

Even I as a child had to learn to run from some adults because they were still crazy from World War II and the Great Depression. And it wasn't "FASHIONABLE" to seek psychological help then also. So, PTSD Crazies were everywhere killing other adults and children everywhere in the U.S. like it was going out of style.

So, maybe finding a spiritual practice to center yourselves during these times might be helpful.

Because all the craziness of living in the U.S. (or anywhere on earth) has been never ending now and in the past and likely on into the future.

THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING WE ARE ALL GOING TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH THAT IS ONEROUS!
