There are many people (especially in California) who see Trump as literally the END OF THE WORLD.
However, the problem is that World War II was the END OF THE WORLD, then The Korean War was the end of the world, then the Viet Nam War was the end of the world, and before that the Kennedy Assassination, and Martin Luther King and Bobby Kennedy (were THE END OF THE WORLD), And before that the McCarthy Era when McCarthy and others destroyed thousands of innocent American lives was The END OF THE WORLD.
The point is it's always been crazy to live in the U.S. but even more crazy to live most other places on earth. So, everything is relative.
When I grew up I was met with this positive thinking and my reaction to it from churchgoers was basically something like "You people are just so full of shit!" And in some ways they were.
They died like flies believing things likely that they shouldn't have believed.
But then after the cynicism of my 20s I began to see people who were cynical like I was in my 20s dying right and left from drug overdoses, from crashing cars, from suicide from a relationship that didn't work out, from the Viet Nam War or you name it.
Then I got divorced once at age 29 and I was a single Dad raising my son by myself and I had to become much more positive about everything to set a good example for him so he could grow up right. Then I got married again and that marriage lasted 14 years and then it ended too and then I got married again.
However, this time I married someone who really believed in positive thinking and who always lived with angels like I have.
Then everything changed for me. Her positive (never give up) attitude really helped me stay alive when at age 50 I got a heart virus and almost died for 9 months. So, when God gave me my present wife he really knew what he was doing because she was practical like me without being cynical like I can easily be (at the drop of a hat).
So, without positive thinking I never would have survived to be even 51 years old and my present wife has so far kept me alive (by God's Grace) now all the way to age 77.
So, even though I consider my life after 50 as an ongoing Miracle I see how positive thinking (if you are practical and educated too is the essence of life.
So, after all,
Hope Springs Eternal if we Die Daily
And Positive thinking (if you are practical enough) will save your life every day.
By God's Grace
