If you start blogging:

First of all, you have to ask yourself why you are blogging at all?

Are you blogging as a form of therapy? This is true of me in trying to understand myself and the world better every day.

I began blogging because I promised God I would if I survived my heart virus which everyone else I knew of died then in 1999 in California. I didn't know of even one person outside myself that had this type of heart virus that survived. In fact, the only way they could even diagnose this kind of heart virus then was a post mortem (after death).

So, I promised God when I was at Stanford Hospital next to Stanford University then and I looked at all the people on guerneys who thought they might also die that day and decided that I needed to promise God that if I survived all this that I would write to sing of God's praises for Saving my life and share whatever I could about my experiences with God and Angels ongoing. This was fall of 1998 then and by May of 1999 Doctors told me I wasn't going to die and that they had figured out what was almost killing me, a heart virus which most people died of then. But, I didn't.

So, as I promised God I began a blog at geocities.com which doesn't exist anymore. I had this site from June of 1999 until I got this one here at blogger.com (Blogspot). It goes all over the world anywhere that Google Goes.

So, the first thing you need to know is that Blogging might bring a few readers or millions of readers. However, this usually comes in waves of readers sort of like waves at the ocean.

Also, if you are going to monetize your blog (that's not me) you have to be more careful of what you are doing so you aren't sued by people for various reasons.

I don't have this problem at all because I don't charge even a cent ever for what I write. Nor do I intend to.

Why? Because I don't really need to make money in this way. Besides it gives me amazing freedom regarding what I write about because I'm not beholding to anyone.

So, designing your way of blogging is important and realizing why you are doing this is important too.

I do this as a spiritual discipline mostly and it is a part of my personal Covenant with God to do this ongoing.

It also keeps my mind active exploring whatever I find important or interesting that day.

By God's Grace

By the way: Good Luck with your blog!
