People literally working themselves to death has always been a problem

 Of course people mostly worked themselves to death by 40 to 60 years old before 1900. This is less true today than then. By 1950 people had raised the average death to 70 years old (even though you always saw some people wise enough to live to 100 or more this wasn't true of most people.

Even in the 1950s I watched person after person die from not believing in doctors so children were dying, teenagers were dying people in their 20s were dying and of every age from not going to a doctor then in the 1950s (mostly for religious reasons which were never scientifically logical or medically logical.)

So, my point of view always was (since I was 9 or 10 years of age: "Why not go to a doctor and stay alive to be 100 if you want to?

However, the other side of this is I saw why many people died simply because their lives were just too miserable to want to be alive another day. This was especially true int the 1950s were most bosses were complete assholes who treated their employees like Shit (sort of like Slaves).

But by the 1960s and 1970s this all started to change. However, Trump is bringing the 'ASSHOLE employer back in force which is horrific to watch also. Musk is another Asshole employer who doesn't care if his people live or die sort of like Trump. It's all about them and not about anything or anyone else.
