Will the Human race survive AI?

I hope so. 

I had a conversation with someone at JFK and I told them that because they were fairly young that they might live to be 200 years old because of Medical AI. This is a potential reality.

However, this is only true of military AI or logical AI doesn't launch all nukes on earth one day simply because humans are dangerous and they need to eliminate the nuclear threat along with most people on earth.

The logic of this is faultless by the way because humans are naturally self destructive in many ways.

However, if all nukes on earth launch in the form of missiles that would end civilization as we know it at least for 4000 years or more so you likely wouldn't want to be one of the survivors of a nuke launch like this anywhere.

So, will we all survive AI? Unknown at this point.

However, it's also true that NO one believed we would survive the Hydrogen bomb in the early 1950s either. 

And about 75 years later we are all still here without being nuked out of existence. "At least so far".
