U.S. average gas price $2.37 per gallon today

It also said expect $2.03 per gallon gas by December.  One year ago the national average was $3.43 a gallon.

It is important to understand that this price is an artificial price caused mostly by the middle Eastern Proxy wars and oversupply from  oil nations needing to stay in business pumping oil.

However, these low prices world wide (relatively speaking) also likely are preventing a World Wide Great Depression by making oil and Gas affordable so more people can afford to buy food worldwide.

If food is grown by farm tractors they are fueled by diesel or gas. The price of this gas is added into the price of food sold. IF food is shipped, it is shipped by gas or diesel so that cost also is added into the price of food wherever it is sold. So, at lower gas prices worldwide more people can afford to eat.

This tends to prevent food riots more and prevents governments from collapsing from panicking starving people.
