This is one of the best times I would say of the year to visit anywhere from Big Sur on up into Oregon because of the sun and nice weather. This is also the time of year when sometimes we on the northern coast might wish we had air conditioning for a day or two also.
Today it is sunny and now 60 at about noon and going to 65 it says which tends to heat the house internally up to 75 or so yesterday evening so the house might go to 80 tonight so I closed the shutters and opened a couple of high windows to try to reduce the internal heat some of the house. I'm out on the deck in the back yard under a beach umbrella at a glass table with a hole in the center of it to receive a large sun shade kind of umbrella. But, I keep the umbrella inside out of the sun most of the year if I'm not using it for my table or hot tub to shield me from the sun.
I went to the dermatoligist yesterday but they had moved my appointment but my wife didn't get it moved on the calendar or by telling me so I have to go soon instead some time in the next month or so now. I have stuff frozen off often that are precancers. one of the people that cleans our. house calls these dermatologists (White people doctors) as a joke. But, he's white too and used to be an Army Ranger when he was younger. But, he's pretty funny with a great sense of humor and our Corgi Dog loves him and howls when he arrives she thinks he's so great.
