- With Thomas Middleditch, T.J. Miller, Josh Brener, Martin Starr. In the high-tech gold rush of modern ...If you can think like a tech (I studied Computer Network Engineering in the 1990s) and was a computer programmer just out of high school while I was still in college with a computer data processing major then up until 1969.So, this show is very funny to me indeed. If you want to see just how crazy Silicon Valley actually is for young computer engineers creating APPS then this is the show for you. However, if you haven't seen anything like this before it might be quite an education worldwide for you.Luckily, it's a comedy which makes it a little easier to take. So, even though it is relatively accurate as to how crazy this life can be for young computer engineers it is also a little like Las Vegas with Apps making some engineers millionaires or billionaires overnight while dumping other into bankruptcy only to resurrect them the next day only to be bankrupt again only to be a millionaire the next day. And on and on. So, in this sense it is a little like Las Vegas in it's entrepreneurial feast or famine kind of life. However, California to some degree has always been cutting edge in thinking this way, especially in places near Stanford or Jet Propulsion Laboratory or Cal Tech or Berkeley or UCLA etc. etc. etc.Since I live within 100 miles of this place it has always influenced my life a lot since around 1980 when I first moved into the Greater SF Bay area to live. So, even though I also lived in Mt. Shasta and Hawaii during the ensuing years living near this craziness of Silicon Valley has greatly influenced my life ongoing.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
