Coronavirus is thinning the herd of mankind much like mountain lions and Tigers have always done

In this sense the coronavirus is like lions, tigers, bears, crocodiles only in a microscopic form. Recently I watched "The War of the Worlds" with Tom Cruise and saw how the aliens were brought down by a virus and the bacteria of earth one by one. They had the technology to conquer earth but not the technology to survive the viruses and microbes and bacteria of earth.

In some way we are the technological aliens being brought down by the effects of Global Warming through fires and now viruses.

One of the things I'm concerned about planet wide is how are people going to deal with earthquakes, floods and droughts and hurricanes and tornadoes while also dealing with coronavirus?

Where there are two natural disasters or more going on at the same time you likely are going to have the highest losses of life in the short and long run and the biggest mental health problems from grief and PTSD and other long term problems people are going to be dealing with short and long term in their lives.

This happened from the Great Depression, World War II, The Viet Nam War, The Gulf War and the War in Iraq and Afghanistan too. And also  the assassination of President Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy and Martin Luther King caused great PTSD and sadness and confusion here in the U.S. for years even until now and beyond.

All these things created a lot of grief and PTSD in people over the years.

We need to expect millions of walking wounded for the next 20 years or more now from this the latest maker of grief and death and PTSD here in our country.

How we respond to this crisis and all the others we will face will define us in our own eyes and the eyes of the world for the next century or more already.

By God's Grace
