If arrive at the hospital there and the nurses are commanded to put in lipstick things like "F" for fatal, and "M" for morphine on the foreheads of the wounded soldiers.
This is triage where nurses and doctors have to decide who lives and who dies in a moments analysis depending upon how many patients can realistically be cared for given the equipment and nurses and doctors and resources available.
Triage these days means if there is only one ventilator with a bed and you have a 50 year old, a 60 year old and a 70 year old and an 80 year old, they will save the 50 year old because they have a better chance of surviving coronavirus and then they would have to let the 60 year old, the 70 year old and the 80 year old just die without the ventilator.
This is how triage actually works and what hospitals in New York City are already dealing with right now!
Which is why all the businesses are closed everywhere to try to prevent hospital overwhelm and this level of fatal triage actually taking place like now and what happened in Italy and likely is starting to happen in Spain right now too.
I heard on the news that over 3000 policemen are out with coronavirus or quarantined in the New York police department right now and likely an equal amount of firemen as well at this point there. Unfortunately, they are going to have a difficult time not spreading this to their families.
So, basically, in New York City things have spun completely out of control already.
