My son is the last one working in my family out in the world

Everyone else has been sent home from their jobs. Everyone else has been sent home to work online. So, everyone now in California and Oregon and Washington are sheltering in place except for a few necessary jobs so people can have food, gas, necessities, medicines, electric power and gas and  police, firemen, nurses and doctors and that's about it.

I was supposed to have an out patient operation tomorrow but likely I figure I won't be able to get it now until the fall. But, I did go and get stitches removed today. I wanted my wife to take out and cut the stitches but she wouldn't do it so I had to go to a doctor's office so a nurse could do it for me because they are on my back from a procedure the doctor performed two weeks ago.

My wife they wouldn't let through the front door because she isn't a patient there. Then the nurse took a thermometer that has a piece of plastic covering the front of it and rubbed it along my forehead to make sure I didn't have a fever. Then since I didn't have a fever she let me go to my doctor's office. This was an office that housed many specialists so I was allowed to go to my specialist for treatment but my wife had to wait in the car.

If you look at California, Oregon and Washington's numbers so far they are staying under 3000 cases each  for Washington and California. So, I think we stayed on top of it soon enough to reduce our deaths by about 1/2. Other states might not be as lucky because once your number of cases go up it's within 3 weeks of that when a lot of them die.

So far, 40 have died in California and 111 in Washington and only 5 in Oregon.

The epicenter of cases right now is New York State and New Jersey and Massachusetts it looks like but mostly New York State. If I lived there and had another house or cabin somewhere else I think I would leave and go to a mountain cabin about now if I was able to.

Because the next month or two in New York is bound to be pretty horrific like it hasn't been since maybe the Revolutionary war death wise there.

This is 1000 times worse than 9-11 death wise of what is coming here to the U.S. or more.

A whole lot of baby boomers and older are going to be wiped out by this and many younger people too nationwide.
