I've heard people call these kinds of experiences "Experiences with God" or Experiences with various spiritual Holy Beings or Experiences with Primal Nature or experiences with the Universe or experiences with Buddha or 1000s of Buddhas. Each person has their own way of expressing it and I think communion with God, Nature, the Universe or however you want to put it into words should be honored. Because however someone comes to these experiences they are always life changing in the extreme. And during and after experiences like these people are often reborn, showing little resemblance to who they were before. So whether you say you were "reborn" or became enlightened or learned something new or are just very very happy, when these types of experiences happen you should feel honored by Life at the very least and if you are spiritual or religious feeling honored or chosen by God might be appropriate for you. However, honoring your experiences with the infinite greatly will increase your mental and physical health and likely could for those around you too.
In some ways it is sort of like when in a cartoon you see a little Light bulb going on above some one's head. These moments are literally like moments of enlightenment for you and everyone around you.
A Tibetan Lama I studied with mentioned it like this. He said, "It is like you are a handkerchief lying on a table and when you become enlightened all life around you is as if a handkerchief that is being picked up by life. You are at the peak of the handkerchief being picked up and literally all your relatives and friends and all mankind are like the rest of the handkerchief being raised up too.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
