AIDS researcher on board crashed Malaysian Airliner

Though this was reported that there was  an AIDS researcher on board the crashed aircraft, at that time I thought the plane was bound for Moscow rather than it's actual destination which was Kuala Lampur in Malaysia. Whether the route was deliberate or an accident or just to save fuel (as it is the most direct route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lampur (as the crow flies) I don't know.

However, luckily all passenger planes (Thank God) are rerouting away from this air corridor and away from places where they will likely be shot down by missiles from ground or air.

For example, also yesterday they reported 23 American passengers but today Obama had only confirmed one American on board. So, if this is true there is only one American passport that might be misused by someone (or more than someone around the world). Any passport of any nation that is picked up by Russian Separtists is worth a lot of money on the black market, so all these passports (if they didn't get burnt up and are found instead likely will be sold or have already been sold by Russian Separatists.
