More regarding the Internet of Things
The Internet of things I don't find desirable to anyone really but to governments and corporations wanting to sell you things.
I don't need my toaster to talk to other toasters or my heater to talk to other heaters telling everyone how much gas or electricity I use on a given day. I don't even need my electric and Gas meter talking to every other electricity and gas meter in my area using something like Cell phone technology. I don't need to be able to go online and watch how much electricity or gas I'm using or how much other people are using.
All this is only taking away more and more of my privacy and other people's privacy for no good reason but the "invasion of privacy" which only harms people in the end. It might help governments and corporations but it doesn't help me or my family at all.
So, whenever possible if I'm allowed I won't buy anything with this technology and I already pay 10 dollars a month to opt out of P,G&Es program where my electric and gas meter talks to all the other meters in my area. I don't need that and never will. So, I pay $10 dollars a month not to have that service. Why do I have to pay $10 a month not to have that service by the way, even though many customers have gotten ill from this service being outside their bedrooms from the radiation of the constant wireless communication with other Electric and Gas meters 24 hours a day?
