However, what is omitted from this statement is what he said next which paraphrased was "I would have to kill 10 million Afghans to do this." I think he said this to freak out not only the Taliban but also Iranians as well. However, the statement is so ridiculous in this climate that it only makes Trump look like a fool.
But, it is yet another reason to elect someone other than Trump in 2020.
