My understanding of UFOs after 71 years of experiences regarding them

I have gone through everything including "YEY! Space brothers!" to "I'm completely freaked out by al this! when I read "Communion" by Whitley STrieber in the 1980s. But, my point of view now is that they have ALWAYS been here with us and that we are part genetically speaking "Aliens from other planets" (At least 50%). In other words at the very least somewhere between 50% to 80% to 90% of our DNA is from other planets besides Earth. I also believe at present we are a humanoid-ape hybrid designed by humanoids from Maldek and Mars when Maldek blew up about 65 million years ago.

Have our genetics been here on earth for 65 million years?

I'm not sure I can answer that question but the answer is likely: "Some humans have remained here likely, unless they couldn't survive the ice ages or other calamities that happened on earth the last 65 million years. But, others left for other planets.

Why didn't we have space travel until the 1960s?

We had space travel here on earth off an on always here on earth but the last time before the 1960s was Atlantis. And the last time before Atlantis was Lemuria and Mu. Lemuria was where California, Oregon and Baja California are now and people who live or incarnate in this area often lived in Lemuria in previous lifetimes when incarnated on earth.  Just like people who gravitate to Hawaii (where Mu once was) before it sank like Atlantis, often lived on Mu also.

Atlantis, Lemuria and Mu all had varying degrees of Space travel and Space faring and trade going on with other planets, especially humanoid planets nearby Earth.

From my present point of view it is possible that a war between planets sank Atlantis when we lost space travel the last time from too many technologists dying to sustain space travel longer then.

Also, Governments of earth have various relationships with other planets of humanoids and others, they just don't tell the common people about it because it would destroy religions and civilizations because it won't agree at all with religions on earth generally so people would freak out who need religion "the opiate of the people" of whatever state religions are there wherever they live on earth.

Likely only 25% to 40% of the people of earth are psychologically realistic and stable enough for the truth about aliens without running amuck in various ways. It would trigger the PTSD problems many people have to know the real truth about all this.

So, even though many people want the truth "They couldn't really handle the real truth and stay sane."

This is my experience after studying about all this all my life.

So, it makes complete sense why governments tend to hide the truth from the masses to protect religions, businesses and governments from collapsing all over the world.
