Why?
Because Trump has no idea at all what he is really doing.
There are two Chinas. There always has been for 6000 years.
There are the people (who are being turned against Trump and the U.S. to the point of war.
And then there are the Power Elite (the Communist party leadership).
They are not the same and never have been.
Whereas the Government and the people are more of the same thing here in the U.S.
The power elite in China wanted to reduce production because it wasn't ecologically sustainable but couldn't because of trying to keep everyone employed. Then came Trump which can be used as a foil by the Government by directing anger and war against the U.S. rather than the Chinese Government.
So Yes, The Chinese people are suffering as they lose jobs and 3% reduction in manufacturing. But, the government through propaganda has directed all this anger and hate and war towards the U.S. and Trump so they don't get overthrown by the Chinese people.
So, how is the west losing the Trade War? Because the Chinese people are turning their anger against the U.S. by the Chinese Government propaganda war against the U.S. in preparing them for a real war against the U.S. in the future. And this is a real problem just like it was before Kissinger and Nixon started trading with China in the 1970s. You don't want 1.4 billion people ready to go to war with your country like now which is similar to before Kissinger and Nixon.
At that time I expected a full blown war with China by 1980 to 1985 the way things were then in the 1970s if Nixon and Kissinger hadn't saved us by beginning trade with China then.
Now, Trump is undoing all this and creating a war time situation once again with China.
I don't want the U.S. to be attacked by 1.4 billion people in ships crossing the Pacific Ocean to attack us and neither do you.
