the last time there were more jobs than people that want them it was the 1950s or 1960s I think

I remember Unemployment being at something between 2% and 4% in the 1950s and 1960s when people came back from World War II and the U.S. was the last Big nation still standing. We loaned money to countries to rebuild because war had never come to the U.S. mainland so our infrastructure was still intact so we could do this (unlike any other country on earth). From the time I was 12 I always had a part time job anywhere I wanted to work because everyone was desperate for people to work for them then. So, from about 12 onward I had part time jobs after school through college until I had my first full time job for a year at 18 when I paid for my mother's operation because my parents didn't have health insurance. Then I returned to college after I had paid off my mother's operation.

So, even though Trump put the U.S. in this position his Trade War policies likely could start a violent war between China and the U.S.  Also, China is already ramping up the propaganda for that if you have been following all this. U.S. and Trump are seen a lot like the boogieman killing the average Chinese person in propaganda now. It's never good when a U.S. president incites 1.4 Billion people to get on boats and come attack the U.S. in force. Because the only useful defense about this might be to nuke the Pacific ocean out into space or nuke the whole planet and us out of existence permanently.

So, seen in this way, Trump is the single most ridiculous and dangerous president of all time.
