Experts: You shouldn't be flying unless it's an emergency
Why? Because air is shared in the cabins of passenger planes so that if one person on board has an illness it could theoretically be spread among all the passengers. This is why often people get some sickness when they fly or soon after. Another reason this happens is traveling to other time zones. Often when you get out of your own natural rhythms you will have the tendency to get a little ill anyway. If you have gone through jet lag you know exactly what I mean. For example, at 71 I have to think carefully whether it is worth it to travel to Europe or Asia simply because I know I'm going to have jet lag now at this age for about a month when I come home after adjusting the first week or so to a new time zone and different times the sun goes up and comes down as well as different bacteria in the air and foods from where I live in California. So, even flying to the East Coast of the U.S. from California I have to realize I might get a little ill just from different organisms and different time zones. Then you add to this problem coronavirus and it is just an accident waiting to happen for many people's immune systems and body time clocks.
