Because before this last weekend you needed to have had some contact with someone who had been to China to be allowed to be tested here in the U.S. Now that the government knows it's out and about and that each carrier can likely infect at least 3 to 4 other people just walking around minding their own business and not knowing they are carriers (who may or may not get it) it's important now to test everyone because ANYONE might have the coronavirus now. Also, the lady at UC DAVIS who was finally tested died of coronavirus here in California. She was the first to be recognized as having no contact with anyone from China. However, Travis Air Force Base where some quarantined people were is nearby where she lived.
They were also saying today on CNN that many people may be dying from Coronavirus who were never tested nationwide.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
