Another reason for the Trump tick is we have no idea how many cases we have here to begin with compared to other countries and so ratio wise because we are behind in testing likely many more people here ratio wise will die because of Trump's slow start with all this. This will also cause more bankruptcies and starvation in lower classes with lower incomes too because we will be in the middle of this longer and cost the country both more lives and more money in the long run than it costs Europe per capita too.
If you combine this with the Trump Tax cut which is putting the U.S. in debt at really alarming rates this might drive the U.S. into bankruptcy in the next 3 to 5 to 10 years too which is problematic also.
