don't panic over 50 because it might be the last thing you ever do

Some people go through life panicking periodically. This just doesn't work anymore at all after 40 or 50 years old without dying.

So, learning to remain calm no matter what anyone does and no matter what happens in your life is the only way you can be sure to continue to be alive the next moment and the next year. Learning to be calm and methodical about things allows you to survive almost anything and take it in stride.

If you meet people over 70 or 80 years of age mostly these people don't allow themselves to get too bent out of shape regarding almost anything. Otherwise they are soon gone.

I once read a book called "Life begins at 40" which was written in the 1930s. Though it is very dated in some ways some things are the same. It basically says: "If you have all your ducks in a row at 40 then life begins at 40." But, if you don't have your act together in all ways by 40 you might be facing the beginning of the end of you life.

These are the kinds of things they talked about:

Finances in order

Health in order

Family in order

These are the three big ones you need to have covered or your life becomes difficult or even ends early because you don't have these things in order and this is likely as true now as it was in the 1930s still.

On the other hand there is always hope.

Without hope the people perish!

So, the point is do what you can but panicking is only going to kill you after 40 or 50 years of age.
