- The long road to universal health coverage
- Yes, II I completely agree simply because 2/3 of people dying even in the U.S.
- are not being counted.
- So, it's not 211,000 dead Americans instead it's around 500,000 to 600,000. Why?
- Because most people either don't have health care insurance OR they are afraid of dying
- in a hospital. The last
- is quite common because my Grandfather used to say: "Only go to a hospital to die,
- unless you break your arm or
- something." Many Many people are still this way 50 years later or more. So, the majority
- of people are dying
- worldwide without being tested or going to see a doctor or going to a hospital.
- In the U.S. this is 2/3 approximately but in some countries it is 90% to 95% or higher. So, I'm thinking
- the actual
- death toll of coronavirus could be as high as 10 million already worldwide. At least 1 million
- but likely 10 million
- could be the actual number. However, no government on earth (at least at this point)
- is going to give any useful actual
- estimate for many many reasons.
