37% of Farmers in the U.S. are plowing under and killing their crops because of Drought

This year's drought conditions are taking a harder toll than last year's, as 37% of farmers said they are plowing through and killing existing crops that won't reach maturity because of dry conditions. That's a jump from 24% last year, according to the survey.

This could also put pressure on food prices to the tune potentially of 37% (at least here in the U.S. too). But, this is hard to gauge because of crops from other countries replacing the crops not grown here in the U.S.

However, many if not most countries on earth are having similar problems to the U.S. especially places like most of Europe and China.

The laws of supply and demand are here in force regarding food supplies for people all over earth the next few years at the very least.
