From Southern Oregon to California To Texas and even into parts of Missouri there is extreme drought.
Here in California if you go in from the coast 10 to 20 miles you find drought conditions and perfect conditions for fires to break out all over. Luckily, I live right on the ocean where the ocean keeps us cooler in summer and warmer in winter so there is a temperature range from about 40 to 80 degrees with most days being in the 60s here in Northern California. So, the worse it gets inland the more moisture comes in drizzle and fog off the ocean. So, where I live at least it being overcast during summers is pretty normal with drizzle at night. However, inland there can be fires from about now on until October and November
