Paxlovid can keep you positive for 2 to 4 weeks time even though it keeps you out of the hospital

 I talked to someone yesterday who was infected with Omicron through a family member and he chose to not take Paxlovid simply because he didn't want to be testing positive for 3 weeks to a month because he needed to go back to work. However, unless you have really great health this might not be a good idea. For example, for someone Biden's age not taking paxlovid could have sent him into the hospital or worse.

So, it's a decision one should think carefully about if they test positive for Covid Omicron.
