My realization for today: Most people's reality is subjective and not objective:

This for me is a somewhat terrifying realization. Why?

Because without an objective reality when dealing with life or death issues one usually winds up with some kind of death or near death situation eventually.

For example, what is the difference between a Trump voters reality and a Liberal Voters reality?

In the end both tend to be living in their own unique subjective reality where they only listen to people of their same point of view.

And when you ONLY listen to people of the exact same point of view you create a subjective not objective reality. Only when you equally hear all points of view might you even come close to an objective reality.

For example, why does a court want 12 jurors to decide verdicts?

The reason for this is simple. If you get enough divergent views going on simultaneously you might be more likely to actually come up with the truth of any given situation.

Another example, If an accident like a car accident happens police often want to separate all the witnesses so they can talk to them separately. Why?

Because the trauma combined with individual human experiences is naturally going to give a divergent set of points of view. However, if you get 12 people and have them all listen to each other they are naturally going to change their point of view in order to agree more with what other people are thinking. It's a natural human survival instinct to change your point of view not to be in conflict with other witnesses to an event whatever that is. It's about individual survival in any given situation.

So, my realization is accurate. Most people's point of view is a subjective one and not a real objective one.

And this realization I find is sort of terrifying more than anything else.
