I think "YES" might be the best answer to this question. It doesn't extinct human beings but it does extinct human cultures including the U.S., Russia, the EU and China.
So, all civilizations end for all intents and purposes this century. What does that mean?
I just found this out right now so I'm not sure yet what this means really at all.
However, it makes sense to me since I learned to program computers starting in college in 1966 when I was 18 when I learned Fortran and COBOL and learned to operate most IBM Computers and machines regarding punch card and optical Scanning machines (computers) then.
So, basically I understand how computers (brains of all air, land, sea, and space) autonomous robots being mathematical in a binary sense do everything mathematically. So, if you had your adding machine as the brains of your robot what would you expect?
That's right!
NO MERCY whatsoever.
For example, Trump has no empathy and allows people to die all over the place if they don't agree with him both in the U.S. and Abroad.
Now Imagine something in charge which isn't even human?
What use does something not human have for human beings?
Now This is something worth thinking about.
Especially these days and through the rest of this century.
