I think Governments are now like Insurance companies (both obsolete) as least as we have known them.
However, it's also possible that something like California has for state run fire insurance might work (at least for now). A friend of mine said it took him around 5 years to get on this California Fire insurance but it might be the only one people can afford these days with rates increasing 4 to 10 times in one year here in California.
Since Government is sort of an insurance company in some ways I think Government (at least as we know it is also going extinct). I'm not sure what happens next actually but it looks a whole lot more like "Every man and woman for themselves".
Because the People are no longer served by this government at all. This is pretty obvious to me.
Who is to blame?
Global Climate changes have become so out of control along with AI that governments likely are collapsing all over the world slowly but surely.
