Well. it's possible because of 5 times the ability to carry water that colder storms have. So, as the temperature rises when storms come the warmer air allows up to 5 times the rain on board clouds as before.
So, imagine 5 times the rainfall when this happens in warm times like now!
This is what we are actually experiencing in real time from New Mexico to Texas all the way to the East Coast these last two weeks.
It might be bad but if the 5 times number is true like scientists say it likely could get much worse than anything we have seen so far too.
I think going to higher ground while people still can in these areas might be important so they aren't caught off guard in these areas once again and people lose their lives or are seriously injured for life.
