When you consider that every 10 degrees higher creates (at least) 60%) more rain that can fall:

It is pretty scary to see this especially anywhere from places like Arizona to Florida to North Carolina especially during monsoon season when it can be very hot and humid from about Texas East. and even in the deserts of New Mexico and Arizona Flash flooding is almost always deadly if there are people there visiting from other states who don't understand that even when clouds are 50 miles away with rain coming down that rain might come and flash flood you too over one of the many many dry riverbeds.

Because in the end even if that water is 4 to 10 feet high one day a year that is enough to kill you and your family. But, if at least 60% more rain can be in clouds every 10 degrees temperature watch out when it's really hot when it rains because you might get a whole lot more than you bargained for (even if the rain falls far away from you. Because if you are near a dry or wet river bed that water can come and get you.

So, being on some sort of small or large hill when flash flooding comes often is helpful to your survival and your family's survival from here on out in the summers across the U.S. during monsoon season.
