This summer (since around April or May) have definitely been the cloudiest foggiest time (including now) that I have ever seen here and I have lived in this house for 26 years and in this area (within 5 miles from here for over 31 years this time. So, I have seen a lot of changes to the weather. Would I prefer 100 to 115 degrees here? No not at all. However, the almost constant cloud cover or high or low fog is a bit much this year even for the locals who are more used to summers like this one.
For example, it is presently 9:30Am Monday morning and it is 59 degrees out which is pretty unheard of for Almost October. October through April are usually the sunniest months of the year and here we are almost to October and it's 9:30AM and 59 degrees Fahrenheit and the deck is wet and even the dog prefers to be inside and to nap rather than to be outside in this weather.
