Beautiful Sunny Day so far about 70 degrees and pleasant

We have had very drizzly nights the last few nights to where the humidity is 96% in the air. However, they don't recognize this as rain but I would have to call it Mist at the very least. I walked our dog on the beach yesterday and wore my shell (a thin rain type of jacket with a hood) and it was wet from the drizzliness on the beach. Also, you couldn't see well past about a block or so from the foggy nature of things either. It's the kind of thing you see in movies with a castle in the background or something sometimes.

But, here it was in real life with deer walking around and us having to avoid them as they grazed on people's lawn and whatever they could eat. So, we had to be careful driving to the beach not to hit a deer or a fawn becuase they are always nearby. I also saw a beautiful multipointed horned buck as well. But, he wasn't someone you were going to want to get close to because they really know how to use those horns. But, he was magnificent and wondering whether he needed to use those horns on us so we stayed in the car.

People often underestimate deer in general. Though they are generally docile they will defend themselves. Recently our dog ran past me and attacked a young buck and so I was screaming at her to leave the buck alone and this distracted her enough for the buck to get away. The buck likely was sleeping just outisde of our fence in a green belt that is mostly trees. Also, sometimes my wife feeds female deer and their fawns raw oatmeal (uncooked) so they likely remember this and sometimes wait just outside our fence in the green belt for oatmeal. However, she knows mostly you want to only feed does with babies usually because bucks can be difficult once they are yearlings or more. I have seen what a buck with a set of horns can do to a dog, a black Labrador who was running sideways with all the skin of his right chest laid bare and a 13 year old girls running crying behind him. I was riding a bicycle at the time and asked if there was anything to do to help. She was hysterical and just followed the dog who I think was going home (hopefully not to die). The Buck must have thrown the black Labrador dog 5 to 20 feet through the air with his horns.

I also had a Lab, a Yellow Lab we called Huxley but he would listen to me and not chase deer and bucks. He was a pretty good dog. But, he thought dogs that weren't Labradors weren't dogs so  he wouldn't associate with them but he loved our pembroke Corgi we had at the time and was devoted to her.
