First of All God is likely either either male or female or both but likely neither if we are to get serious about this.
However, this way of thinking that I call (being a Mystic) works for me.
I tend to be a mystical Christian but this also includes however God manifests to me in all religions and philosophies and languages even to the point of God being every blade of Grass and every Tree and Rock and every animal or fish or bird on Earth.
In other words God is UNLIMITED in how God can manifest in your lives and is not limited to any shape or form or sex or non sex.
However, from my point of view at least it is not necessary to believe in God or even to call him or her or it God to benefit from God throughout the Universe.
For example, when I went to Bodhgaya, India to meet a Tibetan Lama friend I met in Santa Cruz, California. When we (my family) arrived there he signed us up for the Kalachakra Tantra with the Dalai Lama. There were also 500,000 other Tibetan Buddhists there from places as far away as Kham, Tibet and all Tibetan Buddhist places in Asia as well as about 10,000 of us Tibetan Buddhists from Japan, The U.S. and Europe and South America and other places.
And as I experienced being around all these people I realized that only 25% of these people believe in God the way Christians do and yet these were some of the most genuinely spiritual people I had ever seen or met during my entire life.
I was 37 at this time in 1985 but I was amazed at how generous and devout these Tibetan Buddhists were from all over the world.
After this, I came to the conclusion that one does not have to believe in God to live what I would call a productive (Godly) life.
This was a profound change in my understanding of everything on earth at this point.
By God's Grace
