I don't remember any year since I have lived on the Northern California Coast where it was 67 to 69 degrees at 4 am this time of year!

This actually is even stranger than the almost constant high or low fog we have been experiencing mostly since about April or May of 2025. Though we are used to what is called "The June Glooms" now they can extend deep into September or (October?) from April or may which is very strange.

Would I rather have the 100 to 115 degree Fahrenheit weather inland 10 to 20 miles? No. I prefer it cooler. However, the locals this year are pretty upset about almost constant high or low fog here since April 2025. With very few breaks for sun.

However, the sea breeze off the Pacific Ocean this year has meant clear air moving eastward from the Pacific Ocean and no fires so far where we live on the NOrthern California Coast blowing smoke into our area at all which is nice.
