Interesting times

Interesting usually means complicated in some ways I find even though it is interesting. Sort of like when you travel it is interesting trying to adapt to all the new situations. But then, is it fun interesting (like playing chess) or bad interesting like your travel plans aren't working out properly for all your things you need to get covered like food and shelter and clothing and everything else.

So, what happened last night and this morning was both interesting in a good way but also interesting in a somewhat bad way which is what we face in life every day I find. So, you sort of ward off the blows of life with your back and then you enjoy the fun and interesting parts. But, you have to have enough interesting rewarding parts regarding life usually to continue to at least try to stay alive another day.

I was dreaming about 4 am this morning that I was being burned up in a fire. Then I woke up and realized it was 67 outside at 4 am and I knew why I was feeling like I was being burned up in a fire which was because the house was still 72 degrees. So, the combination of a nightmare and the heat in my bed wasn't fun at all. So, I took off my t shirt and only put a sheet over me because this last night was likely the hottest night of the year and we don't have air conditioning yet here on the Northern Coast of CAlifornia because we usually don't need it. However, this year we might  (at least last night) because it was muggy and humid like Hawaii and yet I hadn't tried to adapt to a hawaii climate like put the air conditioning on in a hotel room yet or had to fight with the other 3 people in the room what temperature they all wanted it to be in hawaii.  :)

Good times usually in Hawaii I find. It's a very special place on all the islands there.

So, my wife was upset about the power being off because she couldn't use her big Imac that she calls mine that is a huge screen (not a laptop).

So, i walked down into the garage and got out extension cords to make generator work. We have a plastic Shed we bought at Ace Hardware so no one dies from Carbon Monoxide poisoning in the house. Then it tried to rain this morning to I had my wife spot me in the rain dragging the small Yamaha generator back into the plastic rain shed so it wouldn't mess it up (the rain). So, now she's off and one of our house cleaners I think is still coming this afternoon so the dog and I are here by ourselves but because I put the generator on I have both the fridge working and Wifi Working so I can write on my blog so you can read it wherever you are on earth or beyond.

Also, if I want I have Netflix on one of my laptops working and since I don't usually shut my laptops fully down and just let them sleep and keep recharging them I always have netflix on my laptop usually without having to sign in again. The newer computers like Apple Airs and most Macbook pros you can do this now with them mostly because they have no movable parts like the hard drives used to move a lot but now they don't anymore on anything made by Apple I believe. So, leaving your laptop sleep is something I usually do because I go back to 1966 in College as a computer programmer and tech regarding computers.

However, I never built a computer like my son who is 51 and likes to custom build desktop computers for video gaming on with his son.

So, when he was college age he was certified as a Computer Tech at one point and still has that knowledge and can build and program computers because of this skill.

Nowadays he knows more about AI than any person I have ever met which is very interesting to talk to him about.
