Since I grew up mostly middle class I hadn't met truly rich girls that much but I almost married one from a prominent Los Angeles Family. However, my father was an Electrical Contractor so though we always had food and a place to live and one or more cars or trucks we also weren't wealthy enough for me to go skiing for example unless I went out and worked and paid for everything from age 15 on.
I didn't used to feel sympathy for rich girls then but I do now because I can see how problematic it can potentially be for rich girls. For example, they cannot even tell the men they are dating they are rich for fear that the men might be ONLY after their money and not them and just be some form of Gigolo or Gold Digger.
