My son and I being techie always and into the latest techologies especially in regard to computers and online stuff found out about Netflix early on in 1997 and began paying for the unlimited DVDs to be sent to your home through the mail. Since the DVDs only had a single paper covering I often wondered how they could survive all the abuse through the mail. But apparently they did enough to continue their business. Then when they started streaming we found a way to be some of the first streamers of Netflix before all the other famous streamers existed like now. Since my wife and family were always into the latest movies of every era we also had an account at Blockbuster too nearby in fact, I found my dog Furby at Blockbuster here on the Coast when the SPCA had him in a cage with other dogs needing adoption outside. He was the most amazingi dog intelligence wise I have ever known that was a male. Presently we have a Blue Merle Corgi who is the smartest female dog I have ever known but Furby, our Long Hair German Shepard and Australian Shepherd Mix was the smartest male dog I have ever known. We got him around 2002 or 2003 then at BlockBuster where they rented DVDs then long before Netflix was ever thought of as an unlimited by mail DVD service.
However, Furby passed away in I think 2016 and snowpearl our first Pembroke Corgi passed away by 2018 I believe. However, Netflix goes on and our new blue Merle corgi are all going strong and my son lives in Oregon now with his wife and son.
