When they started to talk to me it was at Garrapata between Monterey and Big Sur on the top of a cliff. I was despondent then because we had just moved and bought a business in the San Francisco Area and I missed my wilderness life in Mt. Shasta.
They first told me that they considered human beings as beautiful like flowers but also we had very short lives compared to the millions of years that rock people are alive here on earth.
At first I was surprised at this until I spoke with Charlie Thom who was a Karuk Medicine man who was alive then in 1985 when this first happened to me. I had been sweating in the Sweat lodge with Charlie Thom since around 1980. When I asked him about the Rock people he spoke of them.
He said, "My Karuk people have invited the rock people into our sweat lodges for thousands of years and so they sometimes speak with us."
I finally had some context to put this into that made some sense to me.
The Medicine path is often like this where you might experience things that more materialistic people in our western Cultures might not.
Then over time I realized that Rock people are also made into things like Metals and so things like Cars and Trucks and Airplanes and boats made out of metal I might speak with as well.
And over time I found that this was true too.
And sometimes speaking with Cars and Trucks and planes and boats will save your life too.
It has saved mine many times when I ask them if they are going to be in an accident that day. They seem to know if and when an accident will occur because like Trees they live in the past, present and future all at once.
Though people can also live in the past, present and future all at once like I do like the trees and rocks many or most do not.
And since they cannot or choose not to speak to the Rocks and Trees of Earth or the Angels and so often these people are maimed or die because they aren't listening to the life around them tell them how to better survive here on earth.
So, I write of this in this way to save your lives so you can live if you want a long time like I already have at age 77.
By God's Grace
