Why are UFOs important? (Also, presently called UAPs)

I think the best way to answer this is that Flying saucers travel time as well as space which means that you cannot count on the past, present and future of this time line to stay the same.

Also, this creates the possibility of many different timelines as well.

So, from this point of view dying for any cause could be a waste of time because it's all going to change anyway.

What is a UAP anyway?

AI Overview
A UAP, or Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon, is an object or phenomenon observed in the atmosphere that cannot be immediately identified or explained by conventional means, even after further scientific analysis. The term is used as a broader and more neutral alternative to UFO (Unidentified Flying Object), adopted by government agencies like NASA and the Department of Defense to avoid the conspiratorial baggage associated with the older term. UAPs are being studied to advance scientific understanding of the atmosphere and space, with government efforts focusing on collecting and analyzing data from various sources.
This video explains the shift from UFOs to UAPs and the reasons behind it:
What are UAPs?
  • Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon:
The full term, emphasizing the lack of identification for a phenomenon in the air.

  • Not always objects:
Unlike UFOs, which historically implied a flying craft, UAPs can be any kind of unusual aerial event, not just a physical object.

  • Anomalous properties:
Often, the most notable UAPs exhibit unusual characteristics like high speeds, unusual shapes, and flight patterns that defy known physics.

    Why the Change from UFO?
    • Reduced stigma:
The goal of using "UAP" was to reduce the stigma and sensationalism associated with "UFOs," encouraging more open reporting and scientific investigation.

  • Government-led initiative:
The transition to UAP reflects efforts by government bodies and military organizations, including the Pentagon's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office and NASA, to study these events more systematically.

    Studying UAPs
    • Data-driven approach:
Agencies like NASA are conducting interdisciplinary studies to gather, synthesize, and analyze data from various sources to better understand the origins and nature of UAPs.

  • Avoiding assumptions:
The focus is on identifying available data and using it to advance scientific understanding, rather than immediately assuming the existence of extraterrestrial craft.

    Unidentified flying object
An unidentified flying object is an object or phenomenon seen in the sky but not yet identified or explained. The term was coined when United States Air Force investigations into flying saucers found too broad a range of shapes reported to consider them all saucers or discs.
