After illegal U-turn, questions rise over driverless car traffic safety

First of all, I personally would never ride in a driverless taxi. Why?

Because no human being has a way to stop this thing in an emergency.

However, I did hear the argument that young women under 18 make which is: "I feel safer with a driverless taxi than I do with someone my age driving a car or Taxi. First of all, a driverless Taxi cannot rape a young woman which makes sense and a driverless taxi might not make fatal mistakes like a young male or female driver might too.

But, I still think allowing something to drive you that has no human with a steering wheel or brake is pretty insane in any kind of real emergency whenever one happens.
