My wife took our blue merle corgi dog to the vet today as her rear hip was painful and we were wondering why. It turns out she has hip displasia in right hip. So, we have been really lucky to have 5 years without finding out about this. But, it might not be good for her to walk across a sandy beach with me anymore which is kind of sad because she needs to be walking more on packed dirt or pavement to keep her pain level down to something manageable. The Vet gave her some pain killer so she is doing fine at least for now.
