Writing

I went up to Castle Lake today in the mt. Shasta area which was really beautiful there because it was a sunny day and only 46 degrees when I arrived without wind. The snow was everywhere and the lake was frozen but the ice wasn't thick enough to walk on the lake and I could tell anyone who tried would fall through the ice.

I used to ski and walk across the lake regularly but stopped pretty much between 2010 and 2012 because at least one year there the lake never froze and because I'm 6 feet 5 inches tall I just haven't trusted the ice since around then. I have never had a year since I have skied there but one between 2010 and 2012 where the lake never froze before.

Also, in case you didn't know I don't put photos from my Iphone on my website here because all digital photos are geo-located by Latitude and Longitude within about 3 feet worldwide.

So, for example, if you put any photos of you taken where you live some crazy could locate where you live and come kill you and your family. And since my blog goes worldwide here at intuitivefred888 I don't want people to have that information worldwide. So, i don't usually post pictures I have taken here at my website.

However, I was thinking today that I could do this with places like Castle Lake. However, I don't presently have a computer that is in sync with my Iphone to do this anymore. So, that is a problem right now. So, I have about 7000 photos from around the world and I would have to figure out how to download them all to one of my laptops which I haven't done yet in order to put any of my photos here. However, sooner or later I need to do this anyway because my wife and I eventually are going to buy new Iphone 16s or Iphone 17s.

So, it is something to think more about.

We'll see.

By God's Grace

Also, I haven't worried about this because I text my best photos around the world to my friends and family through What's App and Signal. So, because of this downloading my photos isn't my priority. Or hasn't been in a long time.
