It is in Himachal Pradesh state in India. It is at 4460 feet in altitude there not to far by bus from Mandi, India).
Two Tibetan lamas in Dharamashala, India said I had a connection with this Padmasambhava Holy place and told me I should go there with my family (wife and three children). Another person who recommended we go o Rewalsar, India (Tso Pema) in Tibetan was Thubten who married and lady from Minnesota called "Tara" who was an American then in 1986. He was Geshe Lobsang Gyatso's Nephew who then moved to the U.S. to Minnesota that year.
So, we took a Bus (the 5 of us) and I think Geshela and Lobsang (another of Geshela's nephews) all met there. We stayed at the Nyingma Gonpo (Temple) there and they put me in a Penthouse over looking the courtyard there and did a Padmasambhava Puja (prayer) all night long the first night we got there. This Puja was dedicated to Dorje Drollo one of the forms of Padmasambhava who is a real Mahasiddha Historical figure who actually went there and from there eventually to Lhasa Tibet with Buddhism from Nalanda University the Buddhist University
Note: Nalanda Buddhist University existed from the 5th Century to the 12th Century. So, Padmasambhava the Mahasiddha is often recognized as the one who took Buddhism from India to Tibet.
Also, to Hindus, they often think of Buddhism as being sort of like how Catholics view Protestants in the Christian religion. So, they have many similarities in this.
I heard about the Padmasmabhava Caves above Rewalsar, India (Tso Pema) Lake so I walked up there from Lake Tso Pema (Lake Rewalsar) and visited them. I also visited where Padmasambhava melted his feet into the rock which they have enclosed in a stone hut to protect pilgrims from chipping out the melted footprints into the boulder.
When I put my foot in the right foot print and my boot was the same size (of my Cascade boot which were Size 14 and it fit perfectly, Lama Wangdor Rinpoche whose monastery oversaw the footprints (the safety of them) had one of his monks invite my family and I over for tea (which is a sign of a Lama's connection through time with you from previous lifetimes.
When I put my foot in Padmasambhava's footprints and laughed from the spiritual power of my boots being exactly his same size melted into the rocks the sky turned violet an violet Lightning crashe and thundered out of the sky.
I had asked Saint Germain if he was Padmasambhava and the violet lightning and thunder and violet clouds was a "YES!"
Later Lama Wangdor Rinpoche came to California where he gave the Dzogchen initiation to about 100 acquaintances and friends in Mt. Shasta in my friend's Music Studio there.
Lama Wangdor was an Amazing Tulku and Lama and blessed our family and all my friends and acquaintances beyond belief.
Tashi Delek Your Holiness!
